A Message from Our President
As President of the Haitian American Pharmacists Association, Inc. for the 2026–2027 term, I am honored to help lead an organization committed to health education, service, professional development, and community impact. HAPA’s work is rooted in the belief that informed communities are healthier communities, and that pharmacists and healthcare professionals play a vital role in expanding access to trusted health information.
HAPA continues to grow as a professional and community-centered organization dedicated to advancing health literacy, medication safety, public health education, and service to underserved communities. Through continuing education, community health fairs, student mentoring, medical relief efforts, and strategic partnerships, we are working to strengthen the connection between healthcare professionals and the communities we serve.
As we move forward, my goal is to help HAPA expand its reach, support the next generation of pharmacy leaders, and build programs that are meaningful, inclusive, and sustainable. Our organization is proudly shaped by the experiences of Haitian-American healthcare professionals, but our mission extends to all underserved communities that can benefit from education, advocacy, and access to care.
I believe deeply in the power of learning, collaboration, and service. Together, we can continue building an organization that uplifts communities, supports healthcare professionals, and creates lasting impact through compassion, leadership, and action. Together, L’union fait la force.
